About
Serving Our Community and Beyond Since 1990
Nite Owl Promotions began in 1990 as Nite Owl Silk-Screening and was originally more of a hobby than a business. Bonnie worked for an established screen printer for free for a few months to learn the trade, bought some used equipment and a business was born. Along the way this “hobby” of a bored house mommy kept feeling more and more like a real business. Husband Dean joined the effort part time in 1995. They continued to work out of the garage where the business was born until 2006 when they moved into their current facility. Daughter Rachell joined the team full time in 2008 and Dean became full time in 2017. They seasonally employ 4-7 people.

Honesty, Integrity, and Hard Work
The Kelley’s have based their business on solid, old fashioned values of honesty, integrity, hard work, and a strong faith in God. It is their belief that any success that they achieve is a genuine gift from God. They operate their business in a casual, friendly manner and always try to make time for conversation with their customers.

If someone needs to talk, or a little cheering up, the staff always tries to do their part. They keep a little square glass container on the counter at the Ellettsville store. The container has inscribed “Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible”, (Hebrews 11: 1-3) “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, nothing will be impossible for you.”. Open the lid and find the container filled with mustard seeds. Many friends and customers have entered our shop and left with encouraging words ringing in their ears and a mustard seed in their pocket, a tangible reminder of what a little faith and the love of God can do.
